DS Printech China announces merging of Shanghai and Guangzhou editions

14 Jul 2022

With the evolving circumstances of the pandemic situation in China, the organisers of DS Printech China have announced the merging of the Shanghai and Guangzhou editions. Originally scheduled to take place from 18 – 20 May 2022 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the Shanghai fair will now be amalgamated with the Guangzhou fair, which will be held from 16 – 18 November 2022 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.

In order to support the government to contain the spread of Covid-19 in Shanghai and other cities in China, the fair organisers have decided to merge the Shanghai and Guangzhou fairs after extensive evaluation and discussions with stakeholders. The decision was also made in an effort to protect the safety of fairgoers and to maximise their participation effectiveness.

Ms Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd explained: “We would like to express our sincere thanks to all participants for their continued understanding, patience and support. The preparation work has kicked into full gear and we very much look forward to hosting an effective industry event safely in Guangzhou.”

DS Printech China is a rebranding of two events: CSGIA and Textile Digital Printing China. The debut edition in Shenzhen in 2020 attracted 200 exhibitors, who connected with 8,853 visitors and over 130,000 online participants.

The fair is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, China Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association (CSGIA) and Guangzhou Teyin Exhibition Service.
